▉ 1. Introduction  ▉ 

  • About Me

I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston in August 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Ningfang Mi in NUCSRL. My research area is mainly on Cloud Computing, NVMe SSD I/O Stack, Flash Resource Management, Caching Storage System, Deduplication, Docker and Virtualization, VM Migration, and Performance Simulations. 

My Ph.D. dissertation is "Flash-based Storage Management in Cloud Computing Datacenter Infrastructures" (preprint version [pdf], slides [allprojects, proposal, defense]). 

I got my M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2011. My advisor is Prof. Ross D. Murch.  I obtained my B.Eng. degree in Communication Engineering from Tongji University (Shanghai, China). My advisor is Prof. Qing Luo.

I joined ByteDance Inc. (TikTok's parent company, San Jose, CA) as a Researcher/Engineer, Infrastructure in June 2021.
